Deep in the Arctic wilderness of Northern Canada and Alaska wild wolves still wander. No human knows of the lost and mysterious wolf comunities of the Arctic. But, the wolves do.

Welcome to Wolves of the Arctic or WOTA. This is an RPG site where you Rp a wolf who is a member of a pack or just chat with others here in the General category. So please enjoy yourself.

In the URL arctic is spelled wrong. Sorry, about that my keyboard was stuck.

The social hierarchy is based on the cat clans in Erin Hunters Warriors series.

This is the hierarchy within packs.

Alpha-Dog: Leader.

Beta-Dog: Second in command and do everything a leader can except accept bios. Needs a leaders approval to do anything leaderly.

Healer: A wolf who's job is to heal and care for the wounded.

Pack Hunters: Regular members of the pack who hunt for food and mate.

Apprentice: After being born for a while pups start learning how to be a good pack wolf.

Mother: Pregnant she-wolf who cares for a litter of pups from 1-4

Elders: Old wolves who are knowledgable and respected.


Outcasts: Members of an outcast pack. Outcast packs are not part of the four main packs and only have a Alpha as their leader and have no set territory.

Loners: Lone wolves who wander the Arctic.

JPets: Sled dogs for the humans.

Pack Wolves

Pack wolves must have a one-word ENGLISH name that has to do with nature. They should usually have 2 syllables.
Good Example: Lilypad, BirchTree
Bad Example: Ink, Hana

Pups
Pups must have a one-word name. Which will later be changed during a howling ritual.
Good ezample: Stream, Snow
Could be changed to: Bluestream, or Snowstorm

Alpha
Each pack has an alpha. Alphas must have foreign names.
Good Example: Sakari (Inuit), Kouri (Japanese)
Bad Example: Buck, Flower

Pets
Pets can be called anything!

This is the form if you want to create a character:

In order to join, you must post this sign-up form under the sign-up board. Please fill out the entire thing, or else you will not be accepted. If your form is not accepted the first time, just modify it and then, it eventually will be.

Name: This is the name of your wolf. See, NAMING.

Name Definitions: This is where you tell us what your name means or why your wolf has this name.

Rank: This is your wolf's status: Hunter, Alpha-Female, Alpha-Male, Pup

Pack: What pack are you part of?
THE MAIN PACKS: Lunarpack, Solsticepack, Oceanpack, Stormpack.
OUTCAST PACKS: Pearlpack or Stonepack. If you are a pet or a loner, please put down either 'none' or 'n/a'.

Gender: Please include your wolf's gender (female, male).

Age: The age of your character. Please use dog years. 1 human year=7 dog years

Picture: (Optional) If you have a pciture in addition to your charrie's physical description, than feel free to post the url here. PLEASE don't put the picture there as a picture, just include the url.

Physical Description: This is what your charrie looks like.

Personality: Here you describe how your character behaves or special traits that make it unique. Include anything you want, such as fears or habits.

History: This is the past of your character. It must be long and descriptive.

IC: Means 'in character', an example of your character in action. Here you demonstrate your roleplaying skills.

To prove that you have read the Joining Form, the code word is 'random'.
